For our students and families at Evergreen Christian School (ECS), our teachers and staff are a source of a lot of joy and inspiration.  They’ve answered the call and have far exceeded any expectation as they’ve worked tirelessly for our students and our community to ensure our students continue to receive an excellent education in person where they can thrive socially and emotionally as well.

Watching their efforts is inspiring, and it has touched us as we watch them continue to serve.  Because of this, we’ve formed a new committee seeking to bless and honor the efforts of our staff at ECS:  the Sunshine Committee. The objective is to:  show appreciation for our teachers and staff throughout the year in addition to the traditional Teacher Appreciation Week, provide continued encouragement and support, and to boost morale. 

The committee plans to recognize staff birthdays in a bigger way than has been done in the past, provide meals and/or teachers during Professional Development staff in-service days, keep the staff room full of snacks, and provide occasional lunch for staff.

We encourage you to consider being involved in this committee and our mission.  There are several ways for you to get involved.

1. Provide sponsorship to financially support these efforts and receive business recognition and tax benefit.

2. Provide product donations such as snacks, beverages, gift cards, and products.

3. Sign up to sponsor a teacher for their birthday.  In this way, you would follow given guidelines and would pick up items to shower the teacher with love on their birthday.
